The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce fights hard to preserve employers’ rights to manage their businesses effectively while controlling costs. Continued success with the Penn Hills Municipality and Pennsylvania State legislators translates into a savings for businesses large and small.

2. Business Directory
The Chamber publishes a "Membership Directory" on the website listing the names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, website and email addresses and categories of member businesses. The list is updated daily to include new and renewing members.

3. Chamber Website
Our website is constantly updated with information of special Chamber events and includes our news letter that may be downloaded.

 4. Business Referral System
Chamber staff refers Chamber businesses in response to the numerous telephone, personal, written, and email inquiries daily.

9. Networking Opportunities
The Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce provides an array of networking opportunities. Opportunities include:  Chamber Business Mixers/After Hours, and Annual Events; Annual Member Banquet, Golf Tournament,  and Business Expo as well as many other functions of various committees in addition to forums, seminars, and general networking luncheons.

Joining a committee is the best way to become involved with the Chamber and the Penn Hills business community. You will meet other Chamber members immediately, get to know, interact and network with them. It is the first step to building more business. 11. New Member Orientation
The Chamber offers an opportunity for members to become acquainted with Chamber benefits and services monthly at the Chamber offices.

12. Monthly Luncheons and After Hours
Our Monthly "Women in Business" Luncheons are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Food is catered by a member and allows for many networking opportunities. After Hours events are hosted by different member businesses randomly throughout the year usually starting around 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. Mixers provide an excellent opportunity for members and prospective members to exchange ideas and business cards in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, with food and prizes.

13. Power In Numbers
With over 200 business members, the Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce is a strong voice for public information and a reference tool in the business and local community.

14. Business Assistance
The Chamber has a list of phone numbers to assist with local permits, codes, and make referrals to business assistance centers.

15. Legislative Advocacy and Updates
The Chamber receives city, county, state, and federal issues that may impact members’ businesses. Members are kept up-to-date on business legislation and regulations with articles in the Monthly Newsletter, special meetings, seminars and forums. Our committee invites guest speakers and sponsors public forums to educate the community, introduce candidates for public office or debate community issues.

16. Special Events
Special Events annually raise non-dues revenue for the Chamber to expand and amplify services to our members. These events bring additional business to our community, honor outstanding achievements of businesspeople and promote member businesses and organizations. The Board of Directors are the public relations component at mixers and community events.
